We are a service user led and managed drama group, made up of current and ex service users. We employ a paid drama tutor/director who has many years experience as an arts worker, actress and playright. We occasionally employ sessional arts workers when we are working with other groups and organizations. We have facilitators in all our workshops and groups who are current or ex service users and have gained experience of facilitating drama workshops.
Meet weekly Work with games, improvisation, masks, music, creative writing, movement and dance to explore our world. Hold regular management group meetings. Run 8 week projects in various locations, presentations and workshops
The group work in a variety of ways and the style of performance has developed because of a number of factors: some group members may not want to perform, learning text can be difficult, some members may move on or be unwell and so projecting the number of performers in any production is impossible.
Part of the group's aims when performing is to raise public awareness and tackle stigma, prejudice and discrimination by way of education and fun not confrontation. We are also doing a lot of work around Recovery, Social Inclusion and service user involvement.

We are currently looking into applying for funding for a full time project manager, part time project worker, sessional workers, room rental, equipment etc.
We are also applying for funding to produce a video or a couple of videos looking at Recovery, what the recovery approach is, PIP based on (Wellness Recovery Action Plan).
We would also like to make a video around stigma and discrimination.
We hope to develop more partnership working projects with local colleges and groups.
Our project is continuously developing and growing, it is always an exciting and interesting group to be part of. We have many talented and committed members of the group who work in many different ways, not everyone wishes to perform and there are many other ways people can contribute, core management group, writing, producing, filming, editing, admin, publicity etc.
